John spent 29 years at Boston Scientific where he had numerous executive positions including Vice President and Franchise GM of the Interventional Oncology Business.

DJ is a dynamic Engineering, Development, and Operations leader with over 15 years

of experience in the Medical Device industry.

Before Polyembo, DJ held key technical leadership roles specializing in the rapid

development and scaling of novel interventional technologies for early-stage ventures.

DJ has a proven track record of guiding complex catheter and Nitinol-based platforms

from concept to clearance, overseeing the full lifecycle of R&D, quality systems,

regulatory testing, and FDA clearance.

Dean is a med-device startup veteran, with over 18 years of experience spanning a

range of products, including cardiovascular implants, in-vitro diagnostic devices, and

drug delivery systems.

Dean has a ground-up knowledge of the medical device industry, specializing in early

manufacturing engagement of the design process to ensure products are developed to

be inherently reliable to manufacture and ready to be scaled-up.

Prior to Polyembo, Dean was instrumental in building competent, highly respected

engineering teams and flexible, right-sized engineering processes to quickly grow

several early-stage companies.
